Because its TRUE! Since joining this market TRUE has bought teams and ruined teams over and over again. Their failures in this market are laughable and now to compete they have transitioned to flying in players which is a joke. How many local kids do you think will try out for TRUE next year at 2028? Knowing that the only way to compete at the elite level is that they will practice all week and then sit out games while TRUE flies in their National team? In Illinois or Minn you may be happy with TRUE but around here very few respect the program because of how they do business. That is the bottom line.

Agreed. They have run through their original Annapolis Cutters players at pretty much all age levels, and are kind of relegated to former 3rd-line Hawks and NL kids, plus some of the better former players from Cannons and Sidewinders. And at older age groups, decent players from Zingoes and HoCo. They need to settle into a Predators-like, Looneys-like non-elite role and just accept it....rather than flying in kids for the optics of "winning."
Nothing wrong with being a solid AAA team. That is, unless you've promised your corporate overlords and a bunch of parents that you'd be "elite."
I don't believe I'm saying this, but 91 MD's business plan towards 2028 eliteness (recruit, recycle, replace) makes far more sense than True Glen Burnie's wackadoodle strategy.
