Prob can’t afford shot clocks. They’re really doing a disservice to the players who are going to need to play faster in college. Not giving them the head start with the shot clock in high school is a disadvantage IMO

There are reasons why you can be the #4 goalie at Gilman, never touch the field at varsity, and play D1, while the same kid would be the #1 goalie at Westminster goes D3.

One of those reasons is readiness to play the college game.

And if you're unlucky enough to go play in west coast tournaments, you'll see that the vast majority of programs out there never play with shot clocks.

The #4 string goalie goes D1? Really! Any facts or just delusional.....

If he is 4th string he might be younger. If there are three senior goalies on the team only one of them might have a chance at playing high level D1! Top 10 D3 beats the bottom 40 D1 schools anyway, so who cares if they play D3. And what does the shot clock have to do with the goalies?? The shot clock is an unnecessary expense for public school systems. You think they can't afford it....that is insane....they have plenty of money. It's really only an issue for private school dads!!
