SB played well and Masera had a great game, especially on the draw circle. But the gap in talent was pretty clear. Doesn't feel like this is the year they can break through and made the final four. Most likely looking at a 7,8, or 9 seed this year so any quarterfinal loss against a top team is likely.

Not much chat because there was not much to chat about. NU won, no surprise there and no need to talk about seeds, Final Four, Quarter Finals etc... way too early and a lot of lacrosse to be played.

In addition to that, the cream of the crop of the best high school players are spread between 5 schools. UNC, BC, CUSE, MD, and NW. Of the top 25 players, 3 to 5 players committ to one of those schools, with the being spread among other top 25 D1 schools.

With the growth of the sport, the overall talent pool is deeper yes. But the best of the best will still go to those 5 programs. So parity is concetrated more among the middle tier to low tier D1 programs. Even among the those top 5 schools, Maryland is starting to fall behind the others and UNC is getting stronger.
