As long as the VA teams play south of the Baltimore beltway it's not a big deal. Should be able to find fields in Columbia or even Catonsville. If a team has to drive from Alexandria up to Bel Air for one game it's really not worth it. You're in the car each way more than you're on the field. If a team in Bel Air or possibly Towson came "down" to Columbia it would be close to an even commute. More teams gives the league better flavor as long as they are not doormats. |
