2Way is solid, but Madlax should win that matchup. NL was missing 4 starters and still had multiple chances to win. In the final, NL had possession in the box and coach called timeout. The refs incorrectly said 'no timeouts allowed in OT.' The kid with the ball thought the ref granted the TO & stopped for a second. 2Way took ball and went right down and scored. The table informed the officials they were wrong and apologized. But game was over and no coach, player, or parent threw a fit. Both teams played hard and shook hands. 2Way has a lot of speed and small, skilled players who get after the ball. They went 2-0 vs. NL and earned both wins. Hats off to those kids. But if Madlax is at full strength they should be favorites in that matchup. Just be ready for a speedy team that does a nice job in transition and looks to make extra pass. |
