Watching the Saltwater players and parents cheer like they won the Super Bowl after beating a rec team this weekend was pretty comical.

We don’t all have kids that play elite level. In fact, most kids that play lacrosse aren’t elite level. Sometimes people will talk about other teams that aren’t “elite.” This is a 2026 lacrosse forum. Not a 2026 elite level lacrosse forum.
In fact, my kid played in the second bracket at that tournament, so he’s about as anti elite as it gets. I just don’t like Saltwater.
