This is exactly right. East Wind needed a commitment in the winter and with the rise in numbers at the time it didn't make sense to commit financially if they weren't sure it would happen. All of these kids get recognition at their own team dinners, through social media etc. If you have been to this event, there are 600-700 people. Everyone talks over all the presentations and people leave as soon as their kids receive their awards. It is def. not a very personalized night. |
