My daughter's team has a really good defense, works the ball around for a good shot, never beats up the weaker teams too badly, and lets the younger players get in there when the game is out of reach. None of the girls are even close to being on these inflated stat lists. They had a great season. As a team. Ground balls, caused turnovers, draw controls, saving balls that could have been turnovers, pulling it out on free positions to keep possession. These things won games. |
