WB up 1 held ball last 6 min. SW got frustrated fouled hard some pushing w 10 secs left. Just drama no one got hurt thank god.

Exactly why a shot clock is needed in HS lacrosse. It’s usually when teams just holding ball playing keep away to stall …then kids end up getting hurt. Girls start to press and get more physical trying to take the ball away. Let’s get the shot clock in HS and end that scenario. Plus get girls ready for college!
I am down in the Baltimore league and we went to shot clocks this year. It took some adjustments for the players and the refs but it is a game changer and really helps the flow of the game. Only challenge we have seen is when the clock is counting down and the obsessive parents are yelling to shoot even if the girls are 12 meters out and 3 girls in front of them.

Only the IAAM A conference in MD has the shot clock and I’ve never heard a parent yell shoot as the clock was expiring. The teams have been very disciplined and throwing the ball out of bounds if they can’t get the shot off in time.
