Applying for need based financial aide requires submitting tax returns etc.....to prove a family is eligible for aide. A talented goalie who has wealthy parents would not qualify for financial aide. And, the private schools are offering financial aide to many non- athletes as well.
Define "wealthy"?
Exactly. I think most people's definition of "wealthy" and what the income limit is to receive aid from a school like McD and SPSG aren't even close. Especially if you throw in that many families have multiple children in private school and college the income threshold to not receive significant aid is well above $200k.
