I couldn't imagine anything more boring than rehashing Hawks vs. Madlax discussions yet again, but then came the one Madlax vs. another Madlax discussion and I realized how very wrong I had been.

Hot take- Madlax has a down year. 5-6 losses over spring and summer. Better than most, but not up to their previous standards.

I think there will be more parity this spring and summer than in the past. The gap between the top 10-15 clubs on the east coast just isn’t that wide. There will be lots of Freedom win over Hawks or Next Level over Madlax type games. Still think Hawks and Madlax are the best in the area overall, but I’d be surprised if we don’t see multiple losses for both teams.

Nother Hot Take:

Final standing for HOCO:

1. hawks
2. FCA
3. Madlax
4. Crabs
Only teams remotely capable of beating Madlax in HoCo are Hawks and BLC. FCA has never been within 5 goals of Madlax, in any game, ever. But they’re going to beat them this year? Ok…
