Anyway- how do they determine if it is 10 teams or 8 teams? Do they take any input from the community?
I don't think they hold any town hall meetings. I think they ask the teams on the bubble what they prefer, and if those teams choose AAA, then it is easy and the division will be 8 teams. But if the bubble teams lobby to be in Elite, then the top 4-6 teams will lobby to keep them out, and then the organizers will make a decision.
