Jake Reed and bluechip have always been seen as a top recruiting event. This rising freshman event was far from that. If you add up the cost of the Florida tryout and travel plus the jake reed cost and travel its just not worth the money to see where your kid stands. Its only worth it if there are college coaches and the majority decided not to support this event. For that matter there were games where the 3d evaluators didn't bother to show up. Save your money on this event as a freshman, Brine was a better value and more organized. spend the money on the showcases when he's a sophomore. |
