Just to set some facts about the Hardshells. They are the Crabs' B team, and is brand new. The kids have not played together, with maybe the exception of a couple of players from their previous clubs, and they only had a few practices together. They were clearly overmatched by Looneys and Leading Edge, as they should be, given that those two clubs are supposed to be playing in the HoCo Elite division. I think the Hardshells performance against the Predators (another new club) was a good gauge against AAA HoCo level play. This weekend at the MadLax tournament, they are slotted in the A division (and not the AA division - the Elite clubs), so that will be a better gauge of how competitive they will be come Spring.
