Not sure why they waste time ranking travel teams and how you would possibly do this accurately with all the clubs out there.
Most tournaments at the older level are recruiting tourneys and don’t even have championships with multiple pools where tops teams don’t even play each other.
Rankings are typically political.With that being said I do respect the teams that win the big tournaments against top competition but other than that the criteria for ranking seams to be patronizing each other.You see the same thing on the individual level where kids get awarded and make teams based on who their coach is or team they play on.Stuff like that makes us all who have been around scratch our heads. |
