I don't think it is correct that DCE is now Black Ops. The normal progression is that BLC becomes DCE in 8th grade. For 2021 Black Ops was formed as a world series team, as a three team combination (VLC, NextLevel, and BLC) to establish superiority over the MadLax world series team, a goal that they definitely accomplished, and of course to make money, which they also accomplished. The Black Ops head coach happens to be the DCE coach, so there were rumors of VLC and NL player migration to DCE, and the coach and BLC families probably tried to make that happen, but in the end there was little to no movement. So DCE is what it normally would be, an extension of the 2026 BLC team, plus 2025 holdbacks and whomever else they can recruit. The Black Ops team might reassemble occasionally for tournaments, and will have overlapping players with DCE, but they are not the same team. |
