I also remember little poor public school Manhasset beating the vaunted, hyped Long Island All-Star team Chaminade very recently. What I find ironic is that Chami and St. Anthony's REFUSE to play any school with PG's. Fair enough, but then they should hold the same righteous standard and refuse to play any public school because obviously the public schools are at such a disadvantage. Or Delbarton refusing to play Bergan, Bosco, Peter's etc. because they are too good in Football-really, but no problem beating up on Montclair? Hideous. St. Anthony's roster is about the same age as Deerfield's, Taft's etc., |
