ALL TOP Div 1 teams want the prep school kids that is a fact
Actually this is true but not for the reasons you infer. College coaches want the best players. Period. Their jobs depend on it. MANY of those players both men and women come from public schools. Considering that many top D1 lax schools are very expensive, many of those rosters are filled in with prep school kids who won’t receive any of the 12.6 and most likely won’t play but whose parents will gladly hand over the 60-70K so their kid can simply be on the roster.
