Yep, not much of a coach. Whats this, his third gig in three years. I bet the hammerhead jumps again after the school finds out about him. or he finds new pastures to graze in.
The head coach is important, yes of course, but just as important is the “staff” under him. The student talent can be developed but a talented motivated coaching “staff” has to be in place first. If a good coach wants to develop a winning lacrosse team but can’t hire and fire or bring in the people he needs to create that future …then he looks elsewhere.
