The UA is still the better and more difficult team to make.
A- Its 2 combined classes 24/25 and 22/23
B- After the tryout fee its is FREEEEEEE
C- AS cost about $800 just for tryout plus fee,

D the senior UA game is still the greatest individual honor for a HS kid.
E this is the first year of AS and look who runs it??? the top club from each area, so if you think UA was political then good luck at this.

I tend to agree with the above post. I realize there were complaints last year about the underclass games selection process on Long Island last year but this has been a great event for many years on both the girls and boys side. There are complaints about the selection process every year and most of those complaints are simply sour grapes (last year did appear to be different). Looking back over the years (there was a post not too long ago on the YJ thread) UA did a great job in the selection process on long Island as evident by how the players performed at the college level. Not sure how the under class games factor in but yes, " the senior UA game is still the greatest individual honor for a HS kid." I'm sure how a player performs in the Underclass Games is factored into the selection process for who is named Senior Under Armour All-American. The Underclass games have been the most competitive HS event there is especially when the teams from the hot bed areas play one another.
