I don't think it is a dense observation at all. If a team dominates face offs and wins only by two, it means that they were carried by one player and out-played in other facets of the game.
I didn't see the game and I don't know (or care) if it is true, but to people who know the game, that is certainly reasonable/intelligent post-game commentary. |
