According to men’s top 100 power rankings of incoming freshman, number of players ranked by state:
1. NY = 19 (35 per capita)
2. MD = 18 (38 per capita)
3. NJ = 8 (21 per capita)
4. PA = 6 (25 per capita)
5. Mass = 6 (15 per capita)"
The funny part about these rankings is - how many of these kids are actually at boarding schools in CT or MA? If a kid is from LI and goes to Salisbury School, I'm guessing he's classified as a NY player when you could argue he isn't. |
