Re-classed kids all over the basketball court and football field. Some cry just to cry.

It’s ok because it’s not against the rules and people can do what they want. Kids are held back for many reasons. Who are you to tell people what’s a legit reason and what’s not? You don’t know the WHY.
Stop spending money on sports, put the money towards your sons academics. Despite what the education system says, it really not ok for your 13 year old to be in the 6th grade still. Do the right thing and spend the money on tutoring and maybe a private school for the academic challenged.
