The only Poll that really matters is the Poll that each college coach looks at... That would be the one that they look at to see where they have a player ranked on "their list". If you want to know where a player ranks among their peers just look at the caliber of schools that offer a "scholarship / spot" to the player. For the most part, the Top Tier Players receive offers from and choose to accept offers from Top Tier Programs. Approximately 25 - 30 players each year from Long Island are considered Top Tier by the coaches at the top college programs. Each year there are some players who get overlooked but for the most part the top players receive offers from the top programs (Top 20 caliber programs). In some cases, a top tier player will choose to accept an offer from a non traditional Top 20 program but that is the exception, not the rule.
Just remember, the "Experience" that this sport offers our daughters can be incredible wherever they play.
