They would have played on the same middle school team if not for covid. It looks ridiculous. Looks even worse with equipment on. Even worse my older is not the oldest kid on the team. There are 4 kids who are playing down on the school grade cut off, 2 of which that repeated a grade older than him by 6 to 7 months. This has been going on since 1st grade same kids. Even worse there are two kids smaller than my younger one. Its going on in the year below too when my younger kid was in the older grade on a combo some of lower grade kids were the same age or older than him. Parents cheat build up their kids confidence by beating up on younger kids.

My youngest son is your youngest son's age, but your oldest son's size. He's an on grade 6th grader but the constant assumption is that he's a holdback.

If he is bigger, faster and better than little Johnnie, then he MUST be a holdback, Sorry.

Prior to the holdback craze that is now an epidemic , no one thought that. Everyone just said that is one big kid for his age. No one thought about holdbacks, Frankly sports were about age, why would you.

Now, with your holdback son and all the other holdbacks playing down with on age players, Many of the "bigger, faster and better than little Johnnie" are holdbacks, so it is logical they would think that.
