If nothing will happen then why are they having people sign waivers? Ask them to sell what their doing to their insurance companies and see if they get a policy renewal.
After reading one of the waivers, regardless I would never sign something as such. In my opinion, you have to be a horrible parent to agree to the risk and liability spelled out. I also think, many clubs will attempt to leave parents and their kids blowing in the wind, by continually pushing tournaments further back. In other words, they need parents to hang around this summer, in a wait and see holding pattern.
