Tryouts at the top MIAA High School level are a tough lesson for many players. Short of being some outlier or starter, If you have no "juice" ( Club, personal relationship, family) , expect to leave the field disappointed. The starters are already in the mind of the coach, most players are going after next years spots or backups this year. The level is not that different between players once you get pass the few stand out best players. You better have some " juice" or get really lucky.

Politics is still played in many MIAA teams and especially at tryouts. That is a fact. Most backups are only so athletic. Skilled for sure, but lets get real, these arent football players who run like gazelles and look like some Thoroughbred racehorse.

Some of the best lax players are standouts on their football teams as well you dolt.

You're now in the same club with that other BadPerson-nozzle that slimes around the boards spouting that nonsense that Lacrosse is for kids that aren't good enough athletes to play Football or Basketball. Absolutely stunning how ignorant you are!!!!

Didnt mean to get you all worked up Francis. Relax. Maybe next time read a little bit slower. Was talking about Backups and subs and gazelles. Even Football backups arent all gazelles.

There are some athletic D1 lacrosse college guys out there. DO you think more than 10-25% could make any Top or even a decent D1 Football program?

There are "some" athletic D1 Lacrosse guys? If you post on a lacrosse board you should try to actually watch the sport. To play for a D1 team requires a tremendous focus. By definition they are ALL athletes. How in the world would I know if they could make the football team? Could they make the golf team or the baseball team? That is just a silly question. Could the football players make the lacrosse team? If they do not play lacrosse then 0.0% of the football team will make the lacrosse team. They are just different sports. Why compare? However, it is worth noting that the best player last season in D1 is having a good season playing B10 Basketball.

Man,,the more you write about athleticism the more you dig yourself a bigger hole. That is what we started off about. Now you have gone on about making the golf team?? What?? Take any top D! football player and start him with lacrosse at an early age and he runs circles around 90% of D1 lacrosse players . Bernhart from MD is a prime example. Take any top D1 lacrosse player and start him with Football at an early age and very few will make a D1 football team let alone play. Common sense. Doesnt mean anything except that Football requires the player to be the most athletic ( as defined by humans) ? Thats all .

It really has hit a nerve with you. Did some stud football player steal your girlfriend back in HS ?
