Yuck. Lacrosse parents are truly the biggest losers around. This travel lacrosse thing may be a one (year) and done. How do you stand yourselves? Gross.
You are correct. Although Lacrosse can provide more opportunity than any other sport for girls and young women, the environment that has been created is toxic. Jealousy, bitterness and detest seem to be the prevailing sentiments of many of the parents associated with this sport. All of my children (boy and girls) play / played multiple sports and nothing compares to girls lacrosse (not even boys lacrosse).
