Club teams always bury their weakest kids on defense. Colleges look at Middies that they can convert. In many instances on club teams the weakest middie would still be the top defender. Now having said that, there are always a few exceptions where you have a talented athletic defender who has played the position their whole life, like it and are exceptional



Hmmmmm.....so middies whose parents have told them to "go to goal" since PAL and with minimal defensive skills are now going to be college level defenders playing the hardest position in womens lacrosse. Your lack of understanding the womens game is astonishing.
