It is much worse than that....
Head Coach- Northwestern, all three assistants and the manager played for the head coach at Northwestern. One assistant is the head coach at U. Mass, one at Colorado and one at the Byrn Mawr School. The Manager is a Director for the Mass Elite club program. Of the current 34 player roster, the following have a direct relationship with one of the five coaches/manager:
Northwestern- 9
U Mass- 2
Colorado- 1
Bryn Mawr- 1
Mass Elite (not already counted above)- 3
So 16 of the 34 players have a direct relationship with the leadership of the U-19 team.
If that is not outrageous enough, the Mass Elite travel program has 6 players on the team. As a comparison, Yellow Jackets 3, M&D 2 and Skywalkers 1. No other club team had more than 3.
