Just about every coach that has ever been ripped on here is by a Daddy that's upset with his son's lack of playing time. Look in the mirror Daddy, he's just not that good and neither were you.
I have heard it from many a coach's mouth that they will play the older player even if the younger player is a little better because he will get plenty of playing time next year and they don't want to hurt the older player's confidence. Not the good coaches, but it does happen.
