Shouldn't catholic All Star Teams like the Big 2 on Long Island beat every town team they play? They are pulling the best players from 14-15 different towns and parents would be fools to send their kids to those teams if they weren't any good. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers would no doubt get lots of minutes on most of their town teams. There are plenty of players that have left the catholics, went home and became starters. When these teams lose to town programs its an indictment of the coaching and lack of cohesion. Too many generals and not enough foot soldiers. |
