YJ's were one of the first teams on the Island - whereas, they are jumping in the game awfully late in the hudson valley. my guess is that most coaches in westchester and CT didn't recommend the YJ's to their players. there was a coaching shake up before the team even got off the ground. plus, although the top yj's teams are excellent, the rest of the squads are no better than all of the other smaller programs out there. i doubt other teams will be nervous if they see YJ North on their schedules this summer. |
