I don't think CSH is ducking pequa in any way shape or form- they've played the same non-conference schedule for years with the exception of the manhasset drop last year replaced by Smithtown West.
South Side, Syosset, Huntington, Manahssset (SW last year for ridiculous reasons) and two away Spring Break games.
they would have to break a long standing relationship/history of playing, spring trip or cross town rival.
I think that is why they scrimmage West Islip and Massapequa most years because they are great teams year in and year out.
As for LV in '14, they had a very good team in 14 and csh got out coached. So sure, conceivably lightening could strike again but I wwouldn't be on here ranting and raving about it like a heretic based on recent and long term history... let the play of the kids do the talking. CSH will take a step back this year, but not a monumental one. |
