You need to be on the field in close games. If a coach does come to watch and in a tight game you are on the bench what does that say? Id rather my kid be on the field even in a loss. Can't been seen on a bench especially a bench that has 25 kids!


How about when your kids on the field in a 15 goal loss? Still ok?


Are they recruiting the team or your kid? College coaches don't give a rats [lacrosse] that the YJ's won the nationals only you do. Coaches want athletes. Speed, size, motor and mental toughness. You show those off by being on the field


Well you are right about the Nationals, because it isn't a real top level tournament. Almost none of the best clubs r there. Coaches also want stick skills. And size is overrated.

Size only matters if you lack speed or skills. You must have at least 2 out of 3 of....speed, size, stick skills. If you have all 3, you're golden. If you have 2 out of 3, you're fine. If you only have one, you're done.....no matter what club she plays for.
