Because lax ends after college, and it is way more important to have a degree from a top university than to have a ring that no one cares about but you!
Totally agree and if you want to be a summer coach after college all you had to do was kiss up during your club years. You don't have to play at Northwestern or UNC. The young women trying to coach most of these teams are way over matched and easily manipulated by parents and many have played lousy college lacrosse at lousy schools
