Seems like the Tri-state tournament in New Jersey has lost a lot of its luster. Tourney's such as 3D fl$ and the U-15 in Florida have stolen alot of Tri-state's thunder and deminished its importance. Yes, I know they don't overlap dates but many teams that can't travel to the east coast more than once are bypassing tri-state and trying some new tournaments. Why does Express hang onto Tri-state like its still such a big deal? Tri-state seems to be a legacy from a bygone era. Time to move on and try something different? |
