Highlights

Ryan Mahon had four goals and Jessie House had three goals and one assist to lead No. 11 Bethpage (13-3) over No. 6 Bellmore JFK (10-6) in the first round of the Nassau Class B Playoffs. Bethpage will face No. 3 Manhasset in the quarterfinals on Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 at Hofstra.

Justin Guterding had one goal and four assists in the first half to lead No. 1 Garden City (16-0) over No. 16 Division in the first of Nassau Class B Playoffs. Garden City will face the winner of No. 8 Jericho and No. 9 South Side in the quarterfinals on Friday, May 18 at 6:30 at Hofstra.

Tommy Wenk had three goals and three assists and Kevin Overlander had one goal and won 12 out of 17 faceoffs to lead No. 1 Manhasset (11-4) over No. 8 Calhoun in the first round of the Class B playoffs. Manhasset advances to play the winner of No. 4 Bellmore JFK and No. 5 Bethpage.

Matthew Balzano had four goals and three assists and Brian von Bargen had four goals and an assist in the first half to lead No. 2 Wantagh (13-3) in the first round of the Nassau Class B playoffs. Wantagh plays the Hewlett/Carey winner in the quarters, Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Hofstra. No. 15 Floral Park is 5-7.

Kyle Cawley scored five goals, and Nick Casazza and Paul Santoli each had two goals and one assist for No. 2 Plainedge (11-5) in the first round of the Class B playoffs. Plainedge will play the winner of Long Beach-Lynbrook at 4:30 p.m. on May 18th in the semifinals at Hofstra.

Sam Llinares had five goals and two assists as he finishes the regular season with a Long Island-leading 100 points for Hauppauge (9-5) in Division II. David Hwang stopped 14-of-16 shots before being substituted for in the third quarter.
