Lefty attackman didnt actually have 5 or 6 goals, more like 2 or 3. Most of the middies and attackman all scored so not just one player was the reason they won. Express played extremely physical but the crush's experience with older and very physical teams came in handy and played very physical themselves as well later in the game. Crush's newest fogo was extremely dominant throughout both days losing maybe 3-4 throughout the whole tournament. After seeing both these teams play for some time, i felt that express played extremely well in that game and crush didnt play to their full potential. I think if crush played 100% instead of the 70% they played at it would have been a much different game. Not trying to take anything away from express, but playing 100%, crush is head and shoulders better than every 2020 team and most 2019 teams. Also, after having seen the boston 2018 and 2019 teams play this weekend, id like to know why some 2018 boston players played down on the 2019 team in the LI Laxfest because the 2019 boston team i saw this weekend play in the 2019AA semi final and championship game was deffinately not the same as the one that came down to the island for laxfest.

You should check the stats with the crush stat mom. Big lefty is entire team now. I would say he had 6 goals.

If 2020 Terps is so good and "hang" with Crush why are their coaches playing them in a B division in Maryland this weekend? Seems like shameless pumping themselves up and inconsiderate of the other teams in the correct division.

Watched that game. Terps played the crush tough. Much closer than score indicates. Can't wait for next match up. They should sell tickets.

Unfortunately, not tough enough, Crush score was double that of Express, was not a "close" game. But was fun to watch!

just jumping in. totally unbiased. no kid on either team. the game was very competitive and close. express was clearly the more physical team and had a couple of midfielders who were tough as nails. crush had the lefty attack, period. every trick and play crush threw at express was met with a tough hit or double. by my count crush had 3 man up goals and the rest was the attack kid. crush usually runs teams off the field but express matched that speed with those midfielders. crush is still the heavyweight champ but express is closing the gap. better hope that attack kid doesn't leave for duke or carolina too early!

No...2019 is rising 8th graders, U13A is for the best teams who's players are born after 8/31/2000. U13B is for teams who's players are also born after 8/31/2000 but are not good enough to be on an A team.

Not smart playing up in MD as they hold their kids back and he size differential is huge at this age - even the best 2020 team experienced this at laxfest.

It was 5th grade that he repeated. To take him from a projected 2019 graduation date to a projected 2020 date. MAGIC!!!

Lets take it easy both teams from LI in the final is great. My younger son played game before for younger express team so I sat behind the benches. Both teams were very talented its sad parents come on here and fire back and forth. Teams were skilled,fast and athletic, my boy couldnt believe how good the teams were. For such a physical game the skill level was great. Seemed to me both teams lefty attackman 4 & 34 scored a bunch of goals for express and Crush as well as 22 on Crush had at least 3. Thought express midfield was impressive. Keep it Classy guys
