Does anyone know how UA150 selections are made? Is everyone not selected waitlisted?

Someone from Robinson sports reaches out to your club to list players in order to invite. Everyone is then waitlisted if they don’t make it so they can get your money if someone drops out or gets injured.

Players apply and include recommendations from club coaches/school coaches/film. A selection committee reviews everything. Players are chosen. Some are waitlisted. Some are given a flat no. Depending on how many players who were invited accept will depend on if players come off the waitlist. You do not pay unless you come off the waitlist.

They don't have you necessarily rank the players 1-10. But, they do reach out to the coaches and have you rate the girls on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being top tier potential top 5 division 1 player and 1 being d2/d3 mid to lower level player.

They reach out to the club coaches? That seems pretty biased but having club coaches do reccemmndations put them in tough spot.

Kids from the top teams easily get in. They wanna know if you will be a top d1 kid , middle or bottom.
Bottom don’t get in much.

What do you think of teams like U. Of Delaware, Drexel and Temple? There seems to be many middle to lower ranked programs that offer opportunities to play somewhat competitive lacrosse while getting a good education.
