Michael Meyer from Northport HS Earns Week #5 Boys' High School Player of the Week
The No. 25th Ranked Senior on Long Island and the returning All-County Attackman who has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue playing lacrosse at Bucknell University upon graduating, Michael Meyer has worked diligently, who is now tied for 6th in points in Suffolk County (72) and has been proving why he is ranked as one of the Top 5 Attackmen on LI who has helped the Tigers this year to an almost flawless 14-1 record thus far.
With Michael's contributions not only this past week averaging 5 points per game (6g, 9a) in 3 victories, but throughout the entire season with his consistent & unselfish play as mentioned above, all while drawing the opponents top close defender, Meyer's has found the back of the cage 33 times so far & dished out 39 assists helping the Tigers to the advance to the playoffs. Due to Meyer's consistent dominance and leading by example on and off of the field, Michael Meyer has earned BOTC Week #5 Player of the Week honors voted upon by our staff.
