Pride vs Stars

Hero's G vs Hoco Black are 1-2 in their division which could be interesting even though Hero's G will probably take the W. Other interesting game is Pride vs Stars. 3 of Pride's top players went to Stars this year so there might be a little extra motivation for Pride.

I would be shocked if Stars lost this game.

This must be LBC owners. Same rhetoric-same story . just look in the mirror for once. Stop the blame. It has nothing to do with one person leaving. There were 7 excellent players that left over the last 2 years. The coaches daughter hung on and was the last to leave.

BLC Orange knows they should not be playing in this league. I think they were misguided by the owners. Awful for those players to continue.

Common thread for BLC unfortunately. They made BLC Orange teams to be a club teams, so they can take more money, when 0 of them should be club. It's not fair to the kids.

American Select Tryouts for the 2026 grad year is Sunday May 15th at the Maryland Polo Grounds. 2pm-6pm if anyone is interested. I'm pretty sure they have walk up registration.

Integrity vs M&D next week in NGLL. Matchup of the top goalie in the league who plays for Integrity vs. whatever M&D can muster after playing a weak opening schedule

You must be new to lax. Clubs like M&D , Heros and Sw play there to compete and compete well with top clubs. They are pretty successful. Integrity better have more than a goalie.

Interesting because integrity has TWO goalies. The last game I happened to watch the LBC goalie let in more goals and is def weaker in this area. However she is more of an aggressive goalie and can come out of the goal and cause turnovers. The other goalie had more saves and less goals. The original goalie is a better goalie but no one sees it because of the LBC goalie mom.

To suggest the M&D Black and Hero's Green goalies are not the top goalies in the league is the most idiotic thing I have heard. No matter what their schedule is they will come out on top. It's not like Integrity has had a tough schedule either. It's spring league and no matter what you think a lot of girls play in big soccer tournaments in the spring. Integrity goalie moms need to get over themselves. Former Integrity goalie who is now at SW should be glad she left this crazy team. Sounds like the LBC goalie mom has carried over all of her drama.

Look at the teams you have played, really? You are going off those scores playing easy teams. Playing against harder teams your goalies either can hang with the best or not. Plain and simple. So playing M&D this weekend will be the true test. Don’t boast about playing easy teams, it’s the challenging teams that show true success.

Not really. I doubt they faced more than 7 shots in any of those games.

Exactly. Scores are not indicative of a goalies performance. One goalie may face 6 shots and another may face 20+. Unless you have save percentages, scores, especially if they are that lop sides, are not an indication of a goalies performance.

M&D-Integrity should be a close one since both teams have not been challenged yet. The winner should have the inside track for the #1 seed from the South Division. The lost will be ok IMO, since I predict Pride will be the ones missing the playoffs in that more difficult division. The last spot will probably come down to a tiebreaker. After head-to-head, is it goals against or goal differential?

In the North Division, Hoco-NEMS are playing a critical game for the playoffs. Like the South, it is a 4 team hunt for 3 playoff spots. We will see if SW can get it together towards the end of the season when they face NEMS and Hoco in the last few weeks.
