Mom has always been a problem. LBC 26 team was one of their strongest teams. Mom who was a long time coach was always full of drama.

yes, it is sad. Players get poached by clubs like Integrity/MDU and then parents are stuck driving over an hour to practice. I cant imagine that the Eastern Shore of MD has a ton of lacrosse players to pull from. Its sad for those kids that are committed to the team and parents that don't want to have to drive.
AND it seems like most have left mid season as well which is just awful to the rest of the teammates. What parent would not teach their children to honor commitments? I heard one girl left for Integrity because she had a fight with another teammate about a boy!

She was a difference maker for LBC in goal, going to hurt losing her.

Lots of trash talk for an anonymous forum. LBC has had players leaving over the last two years. They've left for M&D, Integrity and MD United. This happens at every org. What should concern you is why LBC cant keep talented girls. It all starts at the top with the club owners.

She was a difference maker because all the other goalies quit too. LBC offers nothing to goalies. The parents have tried to explain that to them and what happens???? The owner gives the same empty promises. Get a clue.

It happens ore than you think. But usually because a girl got little to no PT in the fall. This is more unusual.

That said, I know MD United had a couple girls for tryout during a winter indoor game.

Biggest reason is that LBC is locked out of all of the YJ/Steps tourneys which represent 3 of the 4 biggest tourneys in the summer. Especially important for older girls.

L4TC, LLL and G8 are major recruiting events. Depending on how big MD cup becomes, they could have 4 major events.

Everyone has their own circumstance. The clubs have no problem taking a girl mid year, why wouldn’t you leave if there was a better fit?

The only thing that is a little sketchy is that apparently she was the only goalie. That’s a little different I guess.

It does stink when players leave in the middle of the season. With that being said it's not always a black and white situation. LBC never passes up opportunity to pick up a kid mid season. Enough about the drive. LBC has practices in DE for crying out loud. Would you continue to take your child to practice crying? Forcing her to get out of the car because her team needed her? Consoling her on the ride home? Is it more important to be loyal to a lacrosse club or your daughter?

Mom/ coach has been the problem as well as those mouthy dads on the sidelines. LBC players yelling at them to be quiet and they refuse. The moms on the sidelines bashing the girls. Come on the coach is toxic but so are the parents. The girls just want to play lacrosse and have fun:

What's sketchy is that the mother of the goalie had coached that team for years. Those girls looked up to her. She knew exactly what she was getting as far as goalie coaching or lack thereof. Just because she used to coach doesn't mean she doesn't have to pay tuition forever. She's going to have to pay at a new club so it sounds like tuition was just an excuse. The team will be better off without the mother/coach and they already have a goalie✌✌

Mom/Coach bashed the family that did the same thing last year to everyone.
It’s even worse that she’s coached that team for years, and helped talk a girl into coming back this year. Then leave’s anyway. It’s always about her!! Good luck Integrity.

Is there a switch to another team? Goalie spots are filled on every team. We have a friend who’s been trying to switch and can’t, unless Heros considers a second?

Do the current Integrity goalies know they are about to be replaced?

I know when LBC goalie went to MDU last year, they put her on the B team of the grad year above since there was a spot, assume they would do that here.

Why is LBC banned from the above major recruiting tournaments?

LBC was at a tournament like 5 years ago and the same goalie mom made comments about a boy playing on the opposing team.

Apparently, they had been caught before then and were already warned. Reportedly TLC turned them in which explains the bad relationship between the clubs.

They do now! Hopefully they are trying out for the 2026 Blue or 25 team. The two goalies on the Green team are solid goalies.

Can we talk about how this is the second year in a row that LBC's very good goalie has left the team right before the start of Spring season/NGLL. Other goalies have left at older age groups as well. Maybe the program needs to reassess what they are offering in terms of goalie coaching and development.
