Don't think they will adjust the line up. Girls have already been contacted by their coaches. They stacked the Black team to win, but girls on the Red team will get more playing time. Similar to what YJ does with their club teams. Strange the amount of middies on the black team when they could have used a couple of those girls on the Red team. Its seems like they picked 22 person team, and then threw the leftovers onto a second team.

Very educatedly and eloquently said. Even if the ending might bother some people, it is exactly accurate, and I am a parent of a daughter on past 2-3 LI UA’s, YJ & now AS Black. Will be challenging. Team that won last year is basically Grizzlies travel plus some others. Very, Very Strong. That said, nothing like the middle of the Big stage, Especially right now with recruiting. Every girl will be offered multiple options that don’t conflict with each other. Win or Lose...all eyes will be on them !!!!

Still waiting for the list of all county and all conf. Etc picks.
Why is this so secretive ? My daughter plays on one of the Teams that was in a county championship. We still don’t know what accolades were awarded.

Grizzlies kicked some YJ butt today at G8, the other teams are playing for second place this summer.

You could probably learn a thing or two from the girls on both teams who clicked one another’s sticks from opposing teams. Get a grip.

His daughter must be better then your daughter otherwise you wouldn't be on here whining about it. As for that daddy coach who has coached for over 30 years that you referred to wins everywhere he goes - I moved my daughter to his 23 Jester team and it was the best thing i ever did. My daughter blossomed in just one year with him and i'm hearing more are coming. If you were happy where you are you wouldn't be on here crying!

Jesters beat YJ last time they played and TG / Jesters game three months ago was a close game so statements like that are just silly. In fact i honestly think the Jesters are arguably better but it is fair to say lets see what happens. Until they beat them then TG has the edge. YJ is completely overrated! Jesters played Grizzlies a heck of alot tougher then TG did at Lax for Cure losing 5-3 in fact the dummest rule in girls lacrosse cost them with three goals being taken off the board and not converting 8 meter shot. On top of that the grizzlies first goal was a fluke but yes - its all part of the game and no excuses. loss is a loss

My daughter played for that dad coach this year at St Dominic's winning the catholic school class A championship. My daughter loves playing for him and we have played for Team Elevate for years. This year she wants to tryout for Jesters hoping to play for that dad coach you keep referring too.

Isn't his daughter the girl that played for Massapequa who played CR Northport team for LI Championship and was the face of Massapequa's team? Never comes off the field playing in the power conference and made All League? Is that same girl who CR face guarded in LI Championship and she still put up 5 points as a 10th grader? There s a rumor going around that her Jester team has college coaches going to their practices - don't know if its true or not but if so maybe, just maybe she's pretty good.........

Easy Daddy, your team and daughter were no match for NP and you played in a weak league and lost handily to every good team you played.

TG/ Jesters game was not close, Jesters were doubled. Jesters lost every draw despite having two screaming coaches on the sideline

His daughter is one very talented girl. Everyone who actually knows her dad thinks very highly of him. Those that don’t come on here and whine and complain about him.

Yes. Legit player. Parents of players should not be involved in selection process or coaching of an event like UA. There is just no need, it only muddies the waters... it just gives more ammunition to the people who want to complain.

When the Jesters beat M&D this week they will have something to brag about. They haven’t beat a quality team yet this summer. This weekend we’ll see if they are for real or just another fluke team. YJ beat M&D 3x in the fall. We’ll see who’s overrated.

The TG had to played and beat M&D black, Hero’s green, Monster purple and lost to the Grizzlies in pool play. Who did Jesters have to beat Dew Lax ? Please the path to the playoffs wasn’t close. Jesters wouldn’t have made the playoffs with TG schedule they barely got by Dew lax.

There lies the problem in parent coaching

It is truly amazing that some people are still concerned with who beat who and which team is the best at this stage of the game. College coaches do not care who wins, they do not care what HS accolades a player receives, they don't care about HS stats, they do not care if the player made UA or AS, they care about how the player plays against top tier competition, they care about the players speed and athleticism, they care about the players toughness, they care about how the player reacts when things are not going the players way etc...

Players and parents will know where the player stands on September 1st.... The coaches at the best programs will recruit and make offers to the best players... I'm guessing there will be less than 25 players from Long Island who receive offers from Top 10 caliber programs.

What happened to the other UA girls on Massapequa when they played NP?

Because he brags about the Jesters incessantly. Please don't come on here pounding your chest until you beat a top team. There is no single girl on Jesters who is better than the top 5 on YJ and TG. This chatter is getting old

Jesters do have one of the top midfielders in the country but she’s not from Massapequa.

Parents and players care. It's called team pride. TG doubled Jesters who looked lost the majority of the game. Yes, many will be recruited to great programs, but remember that they are still in HS for two more years, and this is what is important now!

parents should not be coaching there kids period

Rising Junior year is about recruiting. Spots will fill up faster than you think, especially with current college players having an extra year and the transfer portal. It’s a very important summer for this age group. Proven college players transferring like never before will make it more difficult for HS players. Many Coaches will not commit as many HS players as they have in the past, the will hold some spots until June to see who hits the portal.

The best girls will have multiple offers. Fact. My daughter has already been reached out to “under the table” from her top schools. Can’t wait till Sept 1. Although we are well aware that this year is all about recruiting, it is also all about team play. Coaches are not looking for selfish players. I’m proud that my daughter is playing for one of the top teams in the country and good thing will be coming to all the girls on the team.

M&D is a shell of what they were in the past. Jesters needs to find a way to beat a LI team. Unfortunately they don't have the horses.

We played a team at G8 this weekend that had a lot of selfish play. It was actually palatable the contempt their own team had for the two players who repeatedly would go-to-goal.
It’s G8, so coaches were watching. Did they notice and what do they do about it? Not take a player because she scores too many goals? I actually know this was happening because I know the other teams parents and am always hearing stories about these players.

Daddy coaches promote their daughters to be selfish, sad for other girls who are better, but don't get a chance. Same goes for friends and family players

This is true. They have 3 good middies and a couple good attack. Defense and goalies aren’t great. He can’t get girls to add cause too many mean girls running them off.

Look at M&D 22 Black. Been happening on this team for years and the coach’s daughter ends up ranked #1 in the 22 recruiting class and heading to UMD. Sadly this type of daddy coaching is tolerated and works to the benefit of said daughter. Until clubs ban parents coaching this will continue to happen!

They had all the points and they all never came off the field, all season for that matter! Know what your talking about!

i never heard him brag about anything in fact he's quite humble. What's funny is all i see on here is bragging about an overrated YJ team and a TG team who's getting worse rather then better.

Who is getting worse? All are ranked top 10 in the country YJ #7, TG #2, Jesters #9 Seems like Jesters is constantly trying to brag about how great they are.
