Express B picking up 5/7 of the A kids , mark my words , those kids would start at igloo or 91 .....Express B will go further in WS qualifier then igloo , 91 , legacy etc...how are these directors going to hide these teams this spring? Play in B brackets??

Express A is the best team on Long Island and Igloo is a distant second best. It’s not even debatable. Third best is probably a crapshoot between S2S, 91 (probably not now) and Legacy. Express B is not a good team. They are well coached but don’t have the players and probably won’t until they trim the A team roster after kids record no playing time and go play with the B team.

I asked this question before and noone responded. Who did express B team play in fall and beat ? We know they got crushed in tri star. Who else did they play ?

Do the parents know their kids are being moved to the B team?

I find it more important that parents are debating B teams here. Does is matter who a B team beat or lost to?

Funny you say that. Because looking at the big picture, it doesn't matter who wins or loses; club owners market their clubs this way. I bet your kid can care less.

So true. My kid plays for Express, loves playing/ practicing with team. All good players that work hard and are having fun. Coaches are doing a great job. Boys are learning and having fun. That’s what it’s all about. AA -A- B - DD team doesn’t matter to kids. Enjoying playing does. Parents care. Rating helps justify parents insanity.
My kid loves to play lacrosse. He’s happy. He is 12. That’s what it’s all about.

My son also plays on Express. I echo the above post. Usually, during practices, it gives me time sitting in my car planning out my week, catching up on emails, phone calls, etc. Most importantly, the planning is centered around how my business will be more successful. My son does enjoy playing but has many other interests occupying his free time, which I'm in favor of. For sure, ratings, team classification is geared to attract, along with pacifying parents' ego. Ask me why I have my kid with Express; well, I have three boys, two in college, and both played with Express. So I'm familiar and comfortable with the organization. Other than that, youth lax isn't an asset; it's an expense. That's how I look at it. Happy New Year!

The issue is when you play express you have no idea which team you are playing. The sidelines are packed with kids and sometimes multiple kids are wearing the same #. I guess if CoachC is coaching, the top kids are present.

You obviously never played for Express , you know exactly who is playing, and exactly who is not ! And certainly know at the 2026 age group you are practicing and playing with the best talent on Long Island..if it strikes a nerve that the B team is competitive with the top programs on Long Island A teams don’t sweat it , i guarantee they will hide your team all spring and summer in the “ My Lacrosse tournaments” and maybe the 27 machine team can compete in the NLF for that 91 debacle, they don’t mind doing that ..you will still get the bumper sticker for 4 grand 😂

91 easily beat the Express B team. And if your kid plays for Express, aren’t you also paying close to $4k?

It is probably no different at the Hawks, Sweet Lax, Tigers, Prime Time, BBL or even a good 91 team right? If it is are they doing it better?

If so, they must be looking for players. Would that be something that would be posted somewhere?

Remember when the Tommyknockers and Laxachusetts supporters were on here not too long ago claiming that they were #1? And the Kings were top 5?

The excuses will be our club team lost to "National" teams or we didnt have so and so kid who couldnt travel
