If you're not giving your money to PB who cares what club he's running or affiliated with. Just remember, the bottom line is about them making money, you pay them to use your kids to win games, which lures other kids into the fold.

Bottom line. These boys are not 8 years old anymore. The best take the field in close games as it should be. This isn't PAL. It comes down to letting go of the PAL Daddy ball mindset and being honest about your kids ability. Too many dads out there that refuse to truly see what there kids skill level is. Its not just catching and throwing anymore, its size, speed, quick first and second move, niftiness and most important IQ. Top travel teams are not for everyone and if you cant handle how close games or tournaments are handled then you shouldn't be part of it. Its real simple if your son was an AA player he would be on a AA team if he tried out for them and they would use him in close situations, if he's not then you are seeing your sons ability in a way that nobody else sees. These coaches want to win and putting the best clientele on the field is how its done. These coaches work hard on developing these kids and come tourney time they know who put in the work and can get the job done. Also hopping from team to team doesn't help since coaches look at that as someone who they cant trust to stay in the program. So before pointing out any 1 or 2 teams every good travel team does the same thing. The space between the committed skilled player and the kid who is not sure about wanting to play or doesn't truly put the work in is growing. Best thing you can do in be honest with who your kid is and what he is capable of, by doing that it makes being on these AA teams an easier ride.

Completely accurate statement. There is no AA team that doesn’t shorten their bench to the best of the best, in competitive games. Absolutely none.

This is a crazy statement. The Outlaws select team has a few talented players that can probably compete in AA then there are kids on the team that just aren't there yet. This is because of some kind of coaching/director disagreement that occurred after last years tryouts. This caused the select team to just go out and grab a warm body. So why shouldn't the kids who can compete tryout for the Rebels? These talented kids along with some unhappy TB, Taz, WP, or Igloo boys might be able to make a real competitive team. BTW the coaching/director disagreement was the best thing that could have happen to the select team the current coaches are outstanding lacrosse coaches.

is it likely Taz , express or WP are looking for players at this point? meaning for next year

There is no loyalty at this level. If a kid can play and he is better than an existing player its goodbye to the existing player, as well as it should be.

MB only plays his select favorites and everyone else sits or has significantly less game time. What was so bad before that MB couldn't fix? NOTHING is the answer. It's just another money grab. I'm staying with the Outlaws.

Rush should be great! Director Bret J has worked his way out of 3 clubs in 5 years and this year their team hasn't really beat anyone. Let's join!

if there is a good player they will look at him. That’s the lie you hear so people don’t try out. If you think your kid has what it takes to play AA BALL , you would be foolish not to let them try. BEST Competition at the grade level.

My son also plays with current Outlaw team. And this is the best thing ever, will finally combine 2 teams at this age and compete at a higher level than currently happening.

Agree. Top AA always looking to add talent. Don't listen to anyone who tells you different, most of the time they are scorned parents who's kid didn't make the top AA teams across the board and they will blame it on an "inside job". Bottom line if your kid can play with the AA boys he will be welcomed onto the team. If he was skipped over across the board then you might want to be honest about your boys ability at this point. Don't be delusional

What Madlax can not drive north. I thought they could drive themselves this summer.

Mt Sinai. Old team Long Island. Good team, well coached. Couple of hold backs, Taz kid plays on there part time. Parents are mediocre.

Who are 24 Lax East? Is this another new program trying to run travel teams...Good luck but my kids will stay with the established teams and not new programs who can't get into top tournaments and most likely who don't have relationships with college coaches which applies for my 8th grader and not my 6th grader

Besides Millon events and NLF super series what top tournaments can these teams not get in? And if you kid is playing in those I wouldn’t worry about new teams. Has the Duke coach called you yet about your 6th and 8th grader?

There are a few kids that are older on that team. Either way does not matter.

If that kid is 12 then i dont know what he is doing on that team.

this AA is all nonsence! It is all about hold backs. from MD LI Ct MA their best players are all hold backs!!born in 2005. I even know some boys born in early months of 2004. Have age based tournaments you will see all the b teams filled with on age 2006's.become the AA teams

DC.....built on a swamp, inhabited by swamp people.......a cesspool. Have a great July 4 down there......if you are allowed by the swamp creatures. If DJT gets his way and rids the swamp......then we will visit.

That statement comes from a parent that can not face reality of their child's ability. School ball is always based on grade, not age. You are going to have to deal with the fact that you can not blame others for a child's ability to keep up. I see many kids play up in grade.

There is an on age tournament called the wsyl. Where are all the B teams who should supposedly win?

Unless he is an 05 or plays on another top team, highly unlikely.
