Funny how quick people are to put another team down. All the post said was “Wolfpack champs”. Not the are the best ever, like crazy Madlax guy. Also, Wolfpack has already beaten 3 of those teams on your list, this summer. And lost to 9D1 Maryland by a goal. It seems more like there are 6 or 7 teams, maybe more, that are competitive and can win on any given day.

He is referring to the speculation that Express has 2023's on the team that plan on reclassifying next year but are still in 7th grade this year. Just what I heard, I don't have kids birth certificate or report cards.

Every team on LI has 2-4 kids that repeated a grade...vast majority when they were younger. And for other reasons then lacrosse. Every single team.

All the boys on the Schwalje team are wsyl eligible. Fix the few gaps and they win it next year!

91MD was shut out this weekend. And Wolfpack scored 1 goal that Hawks game. So, fact check before you make statements

Unless they moved the date from September back to April you’re incorrect.

Madlax won 4 games by 1 goal so I wouldn't say they killed it. They are good-great goalie and the biggest kid in 6th grade ever.

I doubt they are ALL wsyl eligible. But I know at least 12 of the kids were born in 2005, and can speculate another 5 are 2005's. The theory of 2-4 may fit the B level teams. But the majority of the A level teams have over half the roster size concentrated with 2005's.

Are there any great coaches at this age group?

At what point does a coach blame himself for a team's continued failure---esp at this age when they have rotated and swapped out players for years? And when does the head of an organization say, ya know what, maybe it's not the players....Does this EVER happen?

Definitely happens. Hawks and 91MD were knotted at 0 at half this weekend and 91 MD caught fire and won 10-0. Then they got blanked 6-0 the next day to Taz. It happens with kids this age.

What's your definition of failure? Most of the top teams have good coaching (91, Taz, BLC, Hawks) and a couple teams (Mad Lax and 91MD) are actually coached by their respective program directors because their sons are on the team. All of those teams have experienced success over the past few years either at their League or winning tournaments.

Other programs like Looneys and Crabs have had coaching changes and less success. Not sure of the other LI teams like Express or Igloo.

Like I said keyboard warrior, say it to his face. Classic case of deflection, won't address the issue, but will redirect to something else. Sorry for the fancy style of writing, probably too advanced for you.

South shore Igloo dads are just as bad. What a bunch of animals. yelling and screaming non stop. Hey guys, relax, your kids and your team aren't that good.

You are absolutely correct! One of the coaches of 24 Lax East has a kid on Taz. They didn’t travel with Taz this weekend. 24 Lax East also has middie who isn’t in 6th grade playing down. My son asked him on the field cause he was so big and the kids teammates admitted he was a going into 8th. Classy move!
