Igloo looking for righty attack. Their top 5 mids plus LSM will be the only ones seeing time at midfield. Defense just needs a coach. Know what you're getting into people. Don't be bottom 6-8 on that team, you'll never touch the field.

Igloo had 3 different head coaches in 3 years! Maybe a new one this year? That's a disaster! They had a good year against average teams. This team is going in reverse but now the owner cares about the team because it's the World Series of Youth Lacrosse this year.
I guess he will learn a lesson that you build teams with continuity and coaching. It's surprising because the older teams he started with were built that way. They also pay the most money to coach a team and coaches keep leaving this team??!!! Too many red flags to deny the big problems on this team.

Is it me or does that it seem like most teams have their teams picked and basically done before tryouts. I know for a fact on 3 of those 4 teams that coaches have already made the calls - trying to get kids back. Recruiting other kids.

Did anyone who tried out for Brine make the team?

There is a full roster of kids representing Long Island that was chosen from the tryout. Looked like mostly kids from Express, S2s, igloo and a few others mixed in. The roster is online

It's a money grab! And the coaches they bring down to evaluate are encouraged to bring their own kids down to tryouts. So much for conflict of interest! Under Amour HS is legit but the rest are all money grabs. It seems like they are getting enough suckers to fall for it!!

5 years is not accurate. They only started up as a program 4 years ago. So 4 years is the right number.

Nobody wants to comment on how the Igloo tryout was? Did they get a lot of kids? Did they take their current players and the 1 or 2 players they want and put them in a separate group like they did last year (and not pay attention to the other kids)?

There were about 60-75 kids there. Yes, they were separated out. And you kinda got the feeling it was set beforehand. Another scam. Thanks for wasting my time, Igloo.
