some of your points are valid but you are missing the biggest part of the equation, Talent.

The two positions that are rarely if ever coached in HS is fogo and goalie and they are arguably the two most important positions on the team (especially if they are not good). Fogo's and Goalies get all of their coaching from private trainers not from their HS coaches that usually do not have the time or skill set to properly coach those skills.

It does not matter how much confidence a kid has if he does not have ability. It is easy on BOTC to say a team should have two capable goalies but how many public's have 2 quality goalies, 2 quality fogo's, two quality lefty attack ect ect. even at the privates (St A and Chammy) that get one great goalie after another and most years send two or three goalies per grade to play in college you still do not see anything near equal playing time, they are just like every other team that plays one goalie 90% of the time. and in college it is worse.

So which team / person had the most disappointing ending to their season?

B) illegal player for Friars
C) st ants parents who tried to reclass / manipulate the system with theis son
D) player who's mommy who ratted out st ants player
E) mommy wh complained so her son could play

I think you are right the Syo HC has gotta go and it's long overdue. The persona and reputation is in such a decline in the school, the local community and amongst their opponents.Coach C can no longer just roll the balls out there and have magic appear , those prior teams were a special group of young men.

F) Massapequa kids failing out freshman year and transferring to Nassau CC. Some of those kids can't even play for Nassau (academic reasons.) What Massapequa lax player ever made an impact on a college team, I mean before failing out??? I guess those kids can get a job checking beach passes at TOBAY (as long as they become registered republicans and become part of the TOB corruption.)

wow was there actually a hazing incident involving a lacrosse team? I dont agree with it at the HS level but walking home in underwear sounds pretty tame to me, google mepham football team if you want to see something disgusting. I played college hockey and if i told you the stories of hazing you might just cry.
