The only kids that have a shot are those that were invited to attend. Clearly JS knew who was in attendance and spent time watching those kids. Quickly the main group of top players was separated from the other kids and the coaches were all watching that group. That was my observation also. All but one coach looking at the invited kids. The one coach is left to evaluate players, and sub lines for both teams.

Fields get shut down by town at a certain heat index. They moved them to next Saturday and Sunday. For the half an hour that they practiced some really good talent. Some new kids that are just deciding to play travel look like hidden gems. I guess their fathers don't get caught up in the B.S.!

Bunch of Bluefish helmets, a couple of True Blue kids, couple of Express bags.

I believe they had 27/28 kids last year, really way to many kids. i would ask them how many kid they were looking to put on the roster this year before you take a spot. They seem to be a pretty standup club, but like others have said on this forum, if they don't answer you or tell you they don't know, its your kids playing time you are gambling with. Anyone go to the team 24 tryouts, and if so, how was the turnouts

They seem to be a pretty standup club, but like others have said on this forum, if they don't answer you or tell you they don't know, its your kids playing time you are gambling with. Anyone go to the team 24 tryouts, and if so, how was the turnouts I'm believe they had 25 or 26 including the 2 goalies. I saw them play at Forsberg and they ran all of the kids. They played a very uptempo game. I asked at tryouts and they said between 20 and 22 with the goalies. True Blue had 22 after tryouts and went into tournament season with 28 and tons of playing time issues and all of the coaches placing the blame on each other. 24 had about 4 or 5 kids at the 2023 tryouts from what I heard last night.

I would just be pro-active next tourney season and call coaches directly if you think you son has a shot of making those teams. Kids move around each year, and especially when USL really starts to administer the age rules.

Notifications are going out and will be done by Thursday. SPOTS are available on all teams. PB can be reached at ###-###-### to discuss organization or any team. If tryouts were a HUGE Success with 500 kids; than why are there still open spots? Outlaws are known for ALWAYS having open spots because they can never quite field a team.

Saturday and Sunday 10:30-12 at field of dreams. If you can't make the weekend they are doing a supplemental Thursday and Friday 6-7:30 at Berner Middle School in Massapequa.
